Bracha Binyamini (1901 – 1993). Bracha Binyamini was born in Brody, Poland. Her family then moved to Vienna. She arrived in Israel in 1921. She is known for her quality paintings. The art critic, Uri Kisre, said: “I am prepared to send flowers for her paintings of flowers.” Her works are based on nature and living in the land of Israel. She portrays the living and breathing streets of her beloved country in the expressionism style. She was very influenced by the work of Mordechai Levanon.
